The Sidekicks' opponents will be announced in September when the Major Arena Soccer League releases its complete schedule.

The 2014-15 season marks the third year back for the Sidekicks after an eight-year hiatus. Last year the team finished with a 14-2 record and earned a second-consecutive trip to the playoffs. This season, the Sidekicks look to better that performance with their goals set squarely on a fifth indoor soccer championship for the franchise.

"We definitely have unfinished business from last year," midfielder Jamie Lovegrove said. "We looked good last season, but our ultimate goal is that championship. I'm excited for the group to come together this month to start gearing up for October."

This summer, the top professional indoor soccer teams from the PASL and MISL came together to create a new super league dubbed the MASL, upping the level of competition and spreading the league from coast to coast and into Mexico. The MASL recently announced that the Sidekicks will compete in the Southern Division along with the Monterrey Flash, Hidalgo La Fiera, Brownsville Barracudas, Saltillo Rancho Seco, and Oxford City of Texas (formerly Texas Strikers).

“The competition in our division will be fierce this year, and I think our fans will be excited to continue some of these new rivalries that were fueled last season,” Sidekicks owner Ronnie Davis said. “Their support really means everything to us. Everyone from the players to the staff work hard to put on a good show for them every game. We expect some good, quality soccer at the Allen Event Center this season, and I hope that everyone will come out this year to experience it with us.”

Tickets for all home matches range from $9 to $35 and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased by calling 469-200-GOAL (4625) or by visiting Ticketmaster’s online and retail outlets. For more information about the Dallas Sidekicks and the upcoming season visit
