Congratulations to 2014 North Texas Soccer Presidents Cup Winners

The 2014 North Texas Soccer Presidents Cup finished in Cedar Hill on Mar. 16 with 13 State Champions braving the rainy, windy weather to come out on top. Teams from Arlington, Plano, Lake Highlands and Chamber Classic Leagues competed and won titles, with U13-U17 champions earning a berth at the US Youth Soccer Southern Regionals in Alabama in June.

Several age groups ended in heart-breaking kicks from the mark. In U15 girls, Heart of Midlothian also emerged the winner in kicks from the mark against Andromeda FC West.

The following teams won the 2014 championship:

U11 Boys – Andromeda FC 03

Dallas Internationals Take Presidents Cup Title

U-15 Dallas International Stars FC clinched first place on a weekend of great soccer in the North Texas State Soccer Association’s 2014 Presidents Cup. We are pleased to announce that they will represent North Texas at the Regional Cup in Alabama this June, 2014. President and Head Coach Reynaldo H Lopez was named Coach of the Year for North Texas in 2009 and 2013, and Regional Coach of the Year for the NSCAA in 2012.

In the first year of the new club, Coach Rey Lopez has won impressive championships on different levels and continues to build teams in the North Texas areas and on the east side of DFW (Rowlett, Garland, Rockwall, Mesquite, and Royce City). The club has five Youth Academy teams and four Competitive teams, which compete in Classic League and Plano League. This has been an extraordinary effort and a successful job from the ’99 team; they are proud to represent North Texas State Soccer Association in the Regionals in Alabama in June.

“I am proud of my U-15 team and thank God, my family, friends, and North Texas State Soccer Association for all the special moments in my career as a head coach,” Lopez says.
