Brown Breaks Tatu's Record as Sidekicks Move Into Third Place

The Dallas Sidekicks moved to 4-6 in Major Arena Soccer League play with an 8-4 loss on Saturday, Dec. 30, against first-place Soles De Sonora. The Dallas Sidekicks are currently in third place in the Southwest division and just four games behind the leaders. The Sidekicks' next home game will be on Saturday, Jan. 14 against Turlock Express.

In the game, Dallas Sidekicks forward Cameron Brown scored in his 21st consecutive game, breaking Tatu's long-standing team record. The Sidekicks forward netted the record-breaker during the second quarter, increasing his tally during the record streak to 32 total goals. Brown's record run began in the ninth game of the 2015-16 season, and has continued through the first nine games of this current season.

The annual Dallas Sidekicks Alumni game will take place during halftime of the team's Jan. 14 match vs. Turlock Express. Some of the players include Mike Powers, Terry Woodberry, Billy Phillips and Jesse Llamas.

The Sidekicks will be holding a Faith & Family Fun Day on Jan. 22. The day will be filled with kids activities, games on the concourse, inflatables and giveaways. The game will also feature $2 popcorn, hotdogs and sodas.
