FC Dallas Benefit Night for Bob Black

Through FC Dallas, NTSSA is having a Benefit Night on August 20, at the the FC Dallas-Seattle Sounders FC match, with the kickoff set for 8 p.m.

As you may know, one of the most longstanding contributors to NTSSA and the sport overall, Bob Black, suffered a significant stroke late last year, and is currently struggling with medical and other expenses that arose from that event. Bob served North Texas and US Soccer in a variety of ways for over 30 years, and had served as the NTSSA Executive Director for 10 years at the time of the stroke.

We at NTSSA want to make sure you are aware of ways to help support the Black family, and considering all that he has done to help grow the sport, we would ask you to consider making a contribution.

By using the link here, NTSSA members may purchase tickets to the Aug. 20 FC Dallas-Seattle Sounders match for half price — just $15 for a ticket that is usually priced $30. Your ticket will be under the name submitted in placing the order at will call in the North Box Office. Do not use the tickets produced by the website. In addition to the significant savings for our members, a portion of the proceeds from all tickets sold through this link will go directly to support the Black family.

You can also contribute directly to the family by sending a check payable to the "Bob Black Support Fund" to:
